      Setup Checklist - VR Crane Simulator Motion-Base Station

      Make sure you check all the boxes and get started on your ITI VR training journey!

      Power

      1. ☐ Laptop power cable
      2. ☐ Motion Base power cable
      3. ☐ Cables plugged into dedicated 110v outlets
      4. ☐ Touch Controller batteries

      Sensors

      1. ☐ Sensor lenses clean and undamaged
      2. ☐ (if pre-calibrated) Left / Right sensors identified
      3. ☐ Sensors securely fastened to tripod
      4. ☐ Tripod placed approx. 2 ft. (24in.) in front of foot pedals
      5. ☐ Sensors straight and centered towards operator

      Cables

      1. ☐ USB 3.0 Hub [connect to laptop USB port left side]
      2. ☐ Sensor cables [connect to laptop USB 3.0 ports right side]
      3. ☐ Oculus HDMI cable [connect to laptop left side]
      4. ☐ Oculus USB cable [connect to USB hub left side]
      5. ☐ Sim USB cable [connect to USB hub left side]
      6. ☐ HDMI to Mini-Display Port display cable [left side]

      VR Headset

      1. ☐ Cable not showing cuts or other damage
      2. ☐ Lenses clean
      3. ☐ Screen displaying properly
      4. ☐ Confirm no visual lag/latency with movement

      Secure Hardware

      1. ☐ Controller pods securely fastened [not wiggling]
      2. ☐ Motion Base support arms secure [not wiggling]
      3. ☐ Cables clear of Motion Base feet [pinch hazard]
      4. ☐ Left Touch Controller mounted [left side]

       Laptop

      1. ☐ Oculus app running [minimized]
      2. ☐ Sim configuration selected
      3. ☐ Controllers functioning in Controller Utility
      4. ☐ Close unnecessary software [if any]
      5. ☐ Launch and calibrate simulator!
