      Is the Learning Hub an iOS App?

      Instructions for Adding the Learning Hub to Your iOS Device as an App Shortcut

      The Learning Hub is not an app but it is optimized for a mobile experience in landscape view.

      NOTE:  These steps are intended to be under the supervision or approval of your IT department or representative.  ITI assumes no liability if an individual performs these steps on their own.

       

      1. Open the Shortcuts App: Open the Shortcuts app on your iPhone or iPad. If you don't have it installed, you can download it from the App Store.

      2. Create a New Shortcut:

        • Tap the "+" button to create a new shortcut.
        • Tap "Add Action."
        • In the search bar, type "Open URL in Chrome" and select the "Open URL in Chrome" action.
        • In the "URL" field, enter the URL https://learn.iti.com/learn/sign_in?client=yourcompanyname.

      3. Customize the Shortcut Icon:

        • Tap the three dots in the upper right corner to open the shortcut details.
        • Tap "Add to Home Screen."
        • In the "Home Screen Name and Icon" section, tap the icon to choose a custom image from your photo library or files.
        • Optionally, enter a name for the shortcut.

      4. Add the Shortcut to Home Screen:

        • Tap "Add" in the upper right corner.
        • The shortcut will now appear on your home screen with the custom icon you selected.

      This method allows you to choose any image as the icon for your shortcut, giving it a more personalized look.  The end result should look something like this.

       

      Courses will look similar to this view in portrait mode.  We strongly suggest that courses be navigated from the landscape view.  Consider your own settings for mobile viewing and adjust accordingly to suit your taste.
