Marco van Daal

Mr. van Daal has held senior project engineer and management positions with Mammoet, Fagioli, and Caribbean Heavy Lift & Transport for over 20 years prior to starting his own specialized transport engineering consulting business, The Works International.

After earning degrees in electromechanical engineering and operational technology at Helmond and Hogeschool Utrecht in The Netherlands, and a General Management degree at Hogeschool Amsterdam, Mr. van Daal joined Mammoet in 1993 and over the next 7 years managed engineering and transport projects for Mammoet companies in The Netherlands, USA, and United Arab Emirates. His projects scaled the globe from North and South America, to Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

From 2000 to 2006, Mr. van Daal helped Fagioli, working in Italy, the USA, and Equatorial Guniea in West Africa, to develop their global business, streamline engineering and project management, and assist other business units such as sales and operations.

A thought-leader in specialized transport, Mr. van Daal authored The Art of Heavy Transport as well as the Hydraulic Platform Transporters Reference Card
