Overhead Crane Operator Training
The ITI 1-day Overhead Crane Operator Course is designed to instruct operators in the proper operating techniques and pre-operational inspection of overhead lifting devices which include bridge, gantry, monorail, fixed hoist, and jib wall mounts.
Overhead Crane training includes interactive, problem-solving classroom workshops are followed by hands-on activities. A written exam and hands-on evaluation will be administered.

Upon Completion
Each student that completes the full 1-day course will receive 0.8 Continuing Education Units (CEUs), as well as a certificate of completion. All ITI Training Center Open Enrollment Students will receive the following student materials:
- Overhead Crane Operator Student Workbook
- Journeyman Rigger's Reference Card
- Rigging Gear Inspection Reference Card
- Overhead Crane Daily Checklist
A five-year ITI Qualification is issued to participants who successfully pass the written exam and performance evaluations for overhead crane operator.
