Bull Rigging
This intermediate to advanced course focuses on planning for and utilizing chain hoists and other similar devices to drift, upright, and turn loads. At least half of this course involves hands-on activities moving loads into and out of an engineered structure, vertically through hatchways and through various other openings.
Each student that completes the full 2-day course will receive 1.6 Continuing Education Units (CEUs), as well as a certificate of completion.

Who Should Attend?
Bull Rigging with Chain Hoists focuses on planning for and utilizing chain hoists and similar devices used to drift, upright, and turn loads in and around areas where crane use is not possible. Trade and craft workers who must safely and efficiently handle loads in a plant environment are ideal candidates for ITI's Bull Rigging Course.
PPE Information
The following PPE is required for all hands-on sessions at ITI Training Centers:
- OSHA-approved hard hat*
- Eye protection*
- Long pants with no holes or tears
- Low-heeled work boots or work shoes
- Full-fingered work gloves*
- OSHA-approved safety vest*
*ITI Training Centers will make these PPE items available for all enrolled students. Students are responsible for their own appropriate garments and footwear.
