Successful organizations and teams often identify foundational values that serve as guiding principles in pursuit of their ultimate mission. “Training” in some shape or form, more often than not, makes its way onto that list.
Let’s pause for a moment and acknowledge a few conclusions:
- Training and achievement are related.
- Not every team is successful.
With those realities established, it is safe to make one more inference - there must be a set of “best practices” employed by successful teams when it comes to training.
The goal of the first ever State of Industrial Training Survey is to dig in and identify those best practices, while also learning as much as possible about the constantly evolving training landscape. Variables such as technology, generational preferences, behaviors, and the way people learn change every single day. The responsibility to consider these consistently moving targets lies with organizational leaders and management, with the State of Training offering a real-time, industry-neutral resource into the challenges facing teams everywhere.
The survey (open now!), will close in April, at which time results will be analyzed with findings published in an easy-to-digest report format (available for free to all!). No contact information will be tied to individual survey submissions.
As a thank you to those who participate, upon completion of the survey, contributors will be redirected to stateoftraining.com, where they will have the option to enter a drawing for a $50 Amazon Gift Card (a total of five prizes to be awarded, limit one entry per person). Participation in the drawing is 100% optional and thank you prize entries are not tied to survey data in any way. Winners will be notified May 3, 2019.
