RigIT iPhone Application - Rigging App Adds ITI Training Page

RigIT, LLC, maker of the RigIT iPhone Application, has incorporated Industrial Training International in their app by creating a Training Page. The RigIT mobile app was developed to give instant access to all necessary rigging capacity chart information. Every chart includes the three basic hitches and there load capacities including vertical, choker and basket hitches. Also included in the charts are screw pin shackles with Working Load Limits and pin diameters. A Sling Angle Calculator is also utilized to help riggers identify the sling tension at given angles based on the vertical sling leg loading the user enters on the device. Lastly, the RigIT app contains a Safety Page that identifies the removal criteria of rigging based on ASME B30.9.
The Training Page that was added to the application in its second release showcases ITI's Crane & Rigging Info Kit. When users access the kit they receive Mike's Safety Tips - Over 80 Tips on Mobile Crane, Rigging, and Overhead Crane safety, as well as other ePosters, articles, and eBooks.
RigIT is planning revisions including metric measurements as well as a version for Android phones.
