For all 30 year of its existence, ITI has placed a premium on innovation within the crane, rigging, and load handling world. One of the results of this emphasis of pushing the envelope is the ITI curriculum itself, which is unmatched by breadth and depth in the industrial training space. Courses born out of ITI innovation, which are now recognized as the industry pinnacle include:
- Master Rigger
- Lift Director & Critical Lift Planning
- Rigging Gear Inspector Level I - III
- Crane Assembly & Disassembly Director
- Accident Investigation: Cranes, Rigging and Material Handling Operations
- Fundamentals of Rigging Engineering Program (7 Courses)
In 2017, ITI will continue to embody the spirit of innovation by introducing another collection of new courses aimed at filling potential skills and knowledge gaps in the load handling industry.
First, two hard-hitting, one day courses or "bootcamps," that are designed specifically for management and supervisory personnel that oversee employees and teams that conduct load handling activities.
Another new offering for 2017 is an intermediate to advanced level rigging applications course that focuses on planning for, and utilization of, chain hoists and other similar devices to drift, upright, and turn loads.

E-Learning & Employee On-Boarding [Infographic]
In its simplest form, technology changes the way we do things. Transportation went from the horse and buggy, to the combustion engine, to eventually air travel and redefined industries, economies, and the world along the way.
The same is true in education. The spread of information, and how that information is received, is constantly changing and evolving. Thanks to advances in technology, "E-Learning" is no longer something to be ignored or thought of as inferior. High quality E-Learning is often the best option for training large numbers of employees spread across multiple sites or locations.
